The City of Tuscaloosa provides customers with a reliable supply of safe, clean water and environmentally effective sewerage collection and treatment at some of the lowest rates in the state.
The City of Tuscaloosa is also responsible for the environmental services and provides three solid waste collection services for garbage, trash and recycling.
You will receive for your Water/Sewer & Garbage Collection in one bill. You can pay your bills with check or enroll in autopay.
Additionally the City offers several recycling options: free curbside recycling collection, drop-off recycling, drop-off electronic recycling and non-residential curbside recycling.

The city of Northport provides garbage cans and offers garbage and trash pick-up once a week. Unfortunately there is no recycling pick-up or drop-off within the Northport city limits. Residents will have to use the drop-off locations in Tuscaloosa.
Water/sewer and garbage/trash is combined in one bill as well with different payment options.
